Happy Easter to all! After the killer, awful busy week we had last week, Easter weekend was a welcome respite. It rained, so the Egg Hunt at Church was moved indoors, and so was Gigi's egg hunt up at my parents' house. She is the most fun grandmother when it comes to kid activities. She had these plastic eggs hidden all over their house with chocolate kisses inside for Brigie. However, Caitlin and nephew Charles had the fun hunt. They were looking for eggs with money inside. Mom, the consumate negotiator and peace-maker, added the stipulation that they would share the money found rather than have a finder's keepers rule. Good choice. Then after the "hunt," all three kids were given Easter baskets brimming with puzzles, candy, CDs, DVDs, you name it. That is precisely why Frank and I chose not to give the kids baskets. They are totally spoiled by their grandparents.
We had a wonderful dinner (all gluten free) prepared by Mom, and left happy and full. My camera's battery gave out early on yesterday, but here are a few shots that capture the mood. He is Risen!! Happy Easter!
