My daughter and her best friend Margaret went to a track meet this afternoon and ran into Avery Johnson the former head coach of the Mavericks. I mean really recently former -- the news of his release just hit the papers this morning. Anyway, he was there to watch his daughter compete, and not being ones to miss a golden opportunity, the girls hit him up for a picture.They said he was so nice to them, and his daughter was a sweetheart as well. F. pointed out that the terms of his contract were quite nice and perhaps that was why he was smiling and not crying after being released. Anyway, nice to know that he not only looks sharp, but he's a gentleman.
